Crochet Rose Ring

Hello lovelies!
This is a little something I made for myself. You can find many small crochet rose ring patterns online. and they are all very easy to make. It took me close to an hour to make this little rose ring.
Though it looks pretty from the top, it looked a bit weird from the side. I still find trouble putting a rose together. I hope I improve though.
With practice comes perfection. So I shall practice till I perfect my crochet rose.
Till next time! Ta ta for now! =)

Chevron Crochet Neckalce

Hello again!

This necklace was made in less than 15 minutes. It was that easy. I saw a pattern online for a chevron necklace and decided to make one for myself. Unfortunately, I am unable to find the pattern online now. I think it has been removed? I'm not too sure. So cheers to the owner who posted the pattern online, whoever you are.

Anyway, this necklace was made in Yarn that i bought from Jogjakarta earlier this year. I hope to get more yarn from around the world. I am heading to Bangkok soon and I hope to stop by Big Knit Cafe and get my hands on as many yarn as I can carry back home. I really cannot wait for my little get-away.

I'll be back soon with more pieces that I've made. Toodles people!

Little Projects along the way...

Hey again! So I made these little things whenever I had the time or was bored or had no mood to study and do my homework. You just produce amazing items whenever you're bored. So these are the results of when I was bored at home.

The two sets of brooches below were done for my Aunt. She wanted some nice crochet brooches to wear with her hijab so I made these for her. The brown is of my original design. *proud* While the black was taken from a blog site that I love. I actually used her design of the Sun Necklace and made one smaller so that I could layer it and turn it into a brooch. Click here to see the pattern for the Sun Necklace and do follow her blog for amazing creative projects that you can do on your own.

So this piece below was something I did when I saw its picture online while browsing for crochet flower ideas. The free pattern is on Ravelry but it didn't turn out well for my type of yarn. (I am using Aminah by the way) So I edited the design abit and turned out quite well for me. I never thought it woulr work but it did. *happy* Here is the link to the free pattern on Ravelry.

For this next piece, I saw that Prada made and are selling this square crocheted brooches. I dont even want to look at the pricetag on what they are selling. So I thought why not make it myself? Cheaper and I had a lot of fun. This piece took me just 20 minutes to make and its extremely easy to create. I didn't even need any patterns to make it. You can find the Prada square brooch if you Click Here

This is another project I made without any pattern. Totally out of my own mind. I just crocheted absent mindedly and ended up with this. Have yet to sew on the pink button to this flower. =)

Now this next piece is extremely tricky for me. Its not supposed to have that hole in the middle. I am still learning how to crochet using the magic circle properly but all in all, I say its not bad for my first try at a crochet heart.

So that's all I have for you guys today. I will update as and when I can. Toodles!

My sweet lil niece

How cute is this beautiful baby?
Welcome to the world little Wiyah!
Nice to finally meet you.
I hope you like my present.
It took me around 3-4 months to complete it as I had school projects to complete and truckloads of work to do.
One of my best works and I am very satisfied with how this beanie turned out.
It was supposed to be a baby owl beanie but my mom said it wasn't nice so a flower it is.

Anyhoo... I hope to make more for my lil niece as she grows.

Till next time! =)

Busy Little Fingers

So it has been so long since I've posted. I have completed many projects and sold many of them off. Unfortunately, I did not manage to take many pictures of the projects that I have done and sold off. The pictures that I took was saved in a small thumbdrive and I've lost it amidst the many boxes when I moved. I hope to uncover them soon and post my projects up here.

Anyways, all the projects above took me less than 15 minutes each to make and they are extremely easy to make. I couldn't help making more of them to give to my little cousins.

On another note, I am a Auntie now! =)
I made a little baby beanie for my niece which I shall post a picture of soon.

Till next time then! =)

My little Rose Brooch

Hey again... I made this little piece for an event I was gonna attend at the mosque where I have to wear tudung. It was simple and sweet and received many compliments. It was so easy to make. I had no difficulties making this piece that I'm going to make more in many different colors and sizes. Only challenge is to arrange it so that the petals fold nicely. Still in the process of perfecting it. Perfection comes with practice and I will practice as much as possible. =)

Little thing I put together

Hey all... I got this idea when my aunt told me she wanted a necklace in neutral earth tones that can match many neutral colors so I decided to make this necklace for her. I got the color combination from my mother who have a little thing for Blues nowadays. It was fun to make and it took me most of a day to complete it. I showed this to my aunt but she wanted it longer so I added another set of I big brown flower and two small blue ones on each side. Also I changed the ribbon to a cream colored one as requested from her. This was one exciting and easy project for me to do and I am considering doing one for myself too. Till next time! =)

Scalloped Bracelets

Hello!!! Welcome to my blog!!!
This is my first creative blog and I'm excited to share what I've made and beautiful things I discovered with everyone around.
Without delaying any further, I would like to share something I made myself. This is the first complicated design I made and I am pretty proud of these few pieces I've made, though if you actually saw the tutorial on this bracelet design, it wasn't as complicated as you would actually think. It would be for a beginner and I am one, so... yeah. I'm proud of myself. =)

I started making this a few weeks ago and posted it on Path for my family and friends to see and my cousin fell in love with it so I made one for her too. The dark brown one is hers.
My little cousin, Hana, saw the red/pink/white one and loved it too so that is now hers. And I'm down to 3 at the moment. I need to make a green one soon to match a green blouse I just bought.
Thats it for this post. I shall update more soon! Thanks for reading and do check out my FB page, Handmade Crochet. =)
